About Alison

DESIGNER, MERCHANDISER, ILLUSTRATOR, (& CERAMICIST)

Alison is a graduate of New York's renowned Fashion Institute of Technology. She holds a Bachelors of Science in fashion merchandising (encompassing product development, buying, planning, allocation, and retail operations). She has worked in the fashion industry for upwards of eight years. Previously having studied visual arts, Alison has maintained an ongoing interest in drawing, painting, and photography. She is constantly doodling, crafting, & seeking new creative outlets to add to her repertoire. Currently, in her free time, she creates a collection of whimsical ceramics out Barro studio in Brooklyn. Alison finds inspiration in the usually unnoticeable––drawing ideas from her surroundings (be it a stranger’s shoes on the subway or a new flower growing in park). Sustainability in the fashion industry also strikes a special chord in her heart. Through her work, she hopes to help push toward a future that is friendlier to the environment by creating thoughtful products with sustainable product lifecycles.
